A few weeks ago our dear friends had a beautiful backyard baptism for their son James. Here are a few photos from the afternoon.
I’m so glad I got to be apart of such a beautiful day in James’ life!
This weekend I had the privilege of taking portraits for the Erickson family. We went to Discovery Green for the shoot, which I had been wanting to take photos at for a while. The colorful geometric walls and large oak trees were great backdrops. But no matter where we had gone their son would have stolen the show with his contagious smile!
I love his joy in this last one. Thanks Erickson family for a great photo session!
This past weekend I had the pleasure of taking photos of baby Brynn and her big sister and brother. It melted my heart to see how much they already love their little sister. She will never be short on hugs and kisses!
Congratulations Smuckers on the beautiful new addition to your family and thanks for letting me be apart of capturing memories of Brynn’s first few weeks.
I thought it was about time for A Sharper Focus Photography to have it’s own blog dedicated to photos and photography related information. It’s currently still a work in progress, but I’m very excited for this new start with the new year. I’ll still be posting mini photo post back at A Sharper Focus so you won’t miss what’s going on. So take a look around, tell me what you think and book your photo session for 2012!
Two of my dear friends from college are expecting their first child within the next two months, and I’m so excited for them. They live in California but were in town for the Holidays so I had the chance to take some portraits for them. We wandered around the Woodlands waterway catching up and taking photos. It was so much fun to get to hang out for a bit.
I was also feeling a little nostalgic while editing these photos. Sarah and Richard’s engagement portraits were one of the first photo shots I ever did in college. Thanks you two for believing in me from the beginning!
